Am Tired

I am tired of the racism and hatred in the county and world.

I am sick and tired of this rhetoric communicated by folks who see black and brown people as a threat. You are the threat, your hate speech, and believe in the lies told by news media outlets and some politicians.

I am sick and tired of people talking about their rights we are Americans who have rights just like you. We have the right to breathe, be educated, and have medical care and opportunities in this country.

I am tired of whether someone I love will be attacked by a racist when they walk out the front door.

It's time to stop all the meaningless talk and take action. We need to have our voices heard peacefully.

This act of violence over the weekend was domestic terrorism!

We cannot allow these politicians to push their hate speech to be normalized.

We can not get numb to what is occurring right now.

Our democracy and freedoms are at stake.

I am tired!

If you are not registered to vote, do it NOW!

Before you vote, do your homework!

Let's keep our voices raised and not let evil win!

Hatred will never win over hate!

My prayers and thoughts go out to all the families and friends affected by this heinous senseless act of hated violence. May God heal you and bring you grace. I stand with you.
