Many people are not aware if they have been a victim of mental abuse.
They are people who have never experienced it at all. For me, that is a
win, if you never have or had this experience.
We should all be aware of the signs. Why? What if someone you know needs help?
Of course, you should proceed with caution and consult the help of a professional.
Also, we need to be mindful if someone wants your help. Here is another question
you should think about, are you demonstrating any of these behaviors?
For the past 2 1/2 years, we have seen a pandemic and civil unrest.
It may create trauma for some; it can lead to negative behaviors.
It is so important we pay attention to our mental health.
We need to feed our mental health the way we nourish our bodies.
Putting garbage into your body can be toxic; it's the same with the mind.
I wanted to bring awareness to a topic that can be tough.
To be better as a people, we have to be healthy, in mind, body, and spirit.
Do you need to address anything? Do you know someone who is mental abusive
or someone who is being abused mentally? Knowing the signs and paying attention
is very important. If you do please be sure to point them in the right direction to
get the help they need. If it is you, please seek help.
It starts with us. Be the voice for someone who can't use theirs.
