Grief is Real

You may have read this title and thought I would speak about grief from the loss of a loved one. I want to touch on the topic of grief suffered in my career.

Have you ever interviewed for a job, promotion feeling a sense of accomplishment? I remember each time I was not successful; I was overwhelmed with a sense of loss.

It has taken me years to understand this sense of loss was my way of grieving my career aspirations.

Grief can occur and show up differently at times in our lives. It's best to recognize what you are feeling and seek help from a professional. I learned it is okay to grieve for a short time. This setback only fuels my desire to reinvent myself and keep focused. Stay on your grind and know you will achieve your vision; timing is everything.

Yes we do have ways to understand grief. For me identify the type of grief first was the key to my healing.

Wow, what a great share. I never looked at grief in this manner. It's real for many; now we have a way to understand, filter, and adjust accordingly. Thanks for this Renee.🌷
