Did you read the quote? Any thoughts? How many of you were the person who did the "deed"? How many of you were the victim of the "deed"?
When I first read this quote, the first thing that came to mind was how we treat one another. This quote does not just apply to a romantic relationship.
We should always be mindful of how we treat someone.
A good rule of thumb is to think about how you would feel if disrespected.
Using this same approach in the workplace may not always be easy, but it is the best approach.
Treating your family how you wish to be treated should be included in this conversation.
In each of these situations, it is about being the better person.
You will feel better protecting your peace and living a harmonious life.
Why stoop down to their level? What will you gain?
Just some food for thought the next you are facing a difficult situation.
As Jesus said in Matthew 7:12, I paraphrase: "Do on to others as you would have done to you."
Now that's an excellent conversation piece!
