Job vs. Career vs. Passion

Let me ask you a question.

How many of you have a job you consider to be your career?

How many have a career which is your passion?

During my time in the corporate world, I have had a job that turned into a career.

What was missing was the passion for what I was doing. I was good at what I did and received excellent performance reviews, but the glass ceiling was there. I loved being in leadership, but it did not fuel my entrepreneurial spirit. Over the years, I dabbled in various start-ups, but nothing would stick. Life would get in the way; I let the nay-sayers get in my head.

Now I have a job I love with a passion for what I am doing.

It has created a space for me to have time to build my next platform.

Every day I am closer and closer to this dream.

So it is possible to have a job but still work on your passion.

Never give up on your passion. Never let years go by without exploring your journey.

Remember to do these three things:

  1. Ask for it

  2. Believe

  3. Receive

These three steps in the creative process will put you closer to your dreams becoming a reality.

It's time to take those steps if you have the urge to follow your passion. Enjoy this journey called life.

Stay tuned big things are coming.
