Make Room

As the New Year approaches, it's a great time to eliminate clutter. I hate clutter!

For me, it's a distraction. I want to be able to live in a home that is free from chaos.

Clutter is chaos.

During the year, I do my best not to purchase stuff I do not need. It is always good

to evaluate if you need it vs. wanting it.

Don't know where to start? Here is an easy list to follow:

  • Clear out emails. Get rid of messages you do not need

(Including unsubscribing to mail you don't want to receive)

  • Clear your phone of photos you do not need, and delete them

  • Computer Desk Top: Do you have unnecessary stuff on your desktop

Now that you have the electronics done, it's time to start in your home. The easiest way is to start in one room at a time. Make sure you have a trash bag and a bag/box for donating items. Make sure you are honest with yourself; if you have not used, or worn an item, then

you can rid yourself of it.

Continue this process until you finish. You may not get done all in one day but make time to work on each day. Don't stop this momentum you have built up.

If you go to the office, be sure to declutter there; this is part of this process too. You will

notice you are more relaxed and think better at home and in the office.

It is all part of my self-care and self-love; it's a lifestyle. The other benefit is the money you

will save. You will realize you can live with unnecessary stuff in your life. Declutter can also include toxic relationships and less time on social media.

Ready, set, Go! 2023 am ready!
