Recently I did a journal exercise about noticing abundance in my world. My purpose was to help train my brain to believe the world is a place where it is all around; I wanted to highlight and spot more opportunities around me.
The first part was to say; I live in an abundant world with opportunities and possibilities. There is so much abundance around me.
It's important to recognize the abundance around us, as it can often be easy to focus on what we lack rather than what we have. Here are some ways you can continue to cultivate a mindset of abundance:
Practice gratitude by regularly taking time to appreciate what you have
Focus on solutions rather than problems when faced with challenges
Surround yourself with positive, supportive people who also have an abundance mindset
Take calculated risks and pursue opportunities that align with your values and passions
Give back to others, whether through volunteering or simply showing kindness and generosity in your daily interactions
Remember, abundance is not just about material possessions or wealth. It can also refer to love, relationships, experiences, and personal growth. Embracing abundance in all areas of your life can lead to a more fulfilling and joyful existence.
Here is the exercise I completed:
I wrote down all the things I see in abundance in nature.
Wrote a list of things I had in my home and other everyday abundance.
All other things I have of abundance I had in my life.
The one thing I listed in each one of these bullet points was me.
Of course, there are many other reasons why I listed myself and felt it was important. It also depended on the context. I was asked if I felt I was enough. Without more information, it's hard to say exactly why the person who asked this question was added to one of my lists.
As a result, I know I am able to have all of the abundances the world has to offer. It's great to have a positive mindset and believe in abundance. Keep focusing on your goals and working towards them. Remember that abundance can mean different things to different people, so make sure to define what abundance means to you personally.
