I do the same! I love my quiet time with God! It’s like a mental detox.

My quiet time is any time of the day when I have to step back because I care so much for those I love. Witnessing turmoil in a loved one, be it a relative or friend, and not having the power or control to make it all better is heartbreaking. No matter how I know that I can't be in control all the time for everyone (if at all), it still is

a mental strain to a degree. Walking myself through what I can do reassures me that all will be fine with keeping hope, belief, and trust in my LORD. I drink a hot beverage and pray to enjoy the rest of my day or night.

I use my quiet time when I first wake and when I go to sleep, to pray. I thank God for life, for all my loved ones, and for health. When I take walks through nature, it helps to clear my mind. It is very important.
