As the author of my story, I can rewrite any chapter. I can add new characters, change the plot, or develop the existing ones. I have control over the story, and I'm free to explore any possibilities. As the creator of the story I'm empowered to shape the story, however, I wish and create whatever world and characters I desire.
I am free to play around with different plot points and make changes that I feel are necessary to make the story the best it can be.
Meg Cabot, an American author, once said: “Write the kind of story you would like to read.
People will give you all sorts of writing advice, but if you are not writing something you like, no one else will like it either.” In this way, I can say that I am the author of my story and that I am free to do as I please with it.
