How many of you wish you could be a child again? The innocence of childhood when everything was carefree. I remember not worrying about anything but school and doing my chores.
Then I think about what I say to my younger self. I would tell myself to be myself, make changes, never give up, stand in my belief, and not take no for an answer. I would also say never lose sight of your vision.
I can't adult today, so what are you going to do?
Take a day to get in touch with your inner child. Make a list of some things you want to do and do it. Once you complete your day, reflect on what you learned about yourself and how it made you feel about the experience.
You can linger in gratitude and use this to help you on those days you can't adult. Having gratitude can help in the following ways:
Improve psychological well-being
Increase feelings of happiness
Life notification, meaningfulness, and productivity are higher
Try giving yourself more appreciation until it becomes natural. You will be able to do the same for others. Still can't adult today? Just breathe, slow down, and take a moment to believe in yourself.
See, in life, we are not owed anything but all the good in your life is a gift. The universe does
not tell us no we do that to ourselves. So when you think you can't adult, what is your self-talk?
Write an open letter to your inner child. Read it to yourself, then once you are done, heal. You will be able to adult again.
Always be grateful for what you have. Gratitude is so important for happiness. Great stuff as usual!
