Quote of the Week!

If I had a $1000.00 for each time I worried about things going on around me or in my life. There is some much I could do with that money. I would definitely give to the charities I support. But the one thing money can buy is the time I wasted. All those hours worrying about things I had no control over. I am glad I have learned how to manage my worrying. Yes, am still a work in progress, but at least I can recognize when am doing it and can stop myself. Now am recalling my time and energy for the things in my life I want to do. Recalling the life God has graced and blessed me with.

Renee, You are so right. However, as a parent, we will always be worried or concerned about something with our children. The difference is that our worries are different when they become full-grown adults. I still request my children to let me know of their travel plans; it is dangerous out here. Knowing their whereabouts is comforting to a mother's soul. And when they neglect to keep you in the know, it is concerning.
