The Wizard of Oz

You are probably wondering about the title of this blog, The Wizard of Oz. Let me ask you this question: what is one of the underlying messages of this movie? The Wizard of Oz is about the power of believing in yourself. It is a story about how a young girl, Dorothy, was able to defeat a powerful witch with the help of the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion. The Wizard of Oz teaches us that anything can be achieved by having faith and believing in yourself.

Let me share my thoughts. The Wizard represents hope that you can't see, at least not yet. No one can tell you what he/she looks like or their power. It is blind hope. This hope gives us the strength to keep going and to never give up. It reminds us that anything is possible and that our dreams can come true.

The Wizard also reminds me of imposter syndrome. The imposter syndrome is the belief that I am not as capable as I am. It can lead to feelings of inadequacy and fear of failure, which can prevent you from taking the risks necessary to achieve your dreams. The Wizard is a reminder that no matter what, it's critical to have faith in yourself and not give up. The Wizard uses a machine to shield himself from this syndrome.

I have noticed more and more that social media is another example of Oz. This is why it is so important to stay true to yourself. Know you are uniquely you for a reason. We have

talents and you just need to discover what they are. Social media can be a great place to explore your creative side but don't forget to stay true to yourself. It's important to remember that the only person you have to be the best version of is yourself. So don't be afraid to be different and stand out from the crowd. For example, if you're looking for a unique way to make a living, why not try creating a business around something you are passionate about, like making jewelry or crafting furniture.

Let's discuss your professional life. If you work in a team, know you have certain skills and talents that add to your team's success. Don't be afraid to speak up and share your ideas. Networking with other professionals in your field can also be a great way to gain knowledge and build relationships. Finally, don't forget to take breaks and do something that makes you happy. Investing in yourself is the best way to increase your value as an employee. Take classes, read industry-related books, and attend conferences to stay up to date on the latest trends. Finally, don't forget to ask for feedback from your supervisors and peers. You don't need to follow the yellow brick road. Follow that inspirational voice inside of you.

In your pursuit of your visions, and aspirations whether professional or personal, knowing your heart, brain, courage, and shoes can elevate you as far as you want to go. With these four elements, you can confidently take on any challenge that comes your way. So follow the inspiration inside. We all have a yellow brick road inside.
