Let's talk about trust. What happens when someone betrays your trust?
It can take time to rebuild trust, and it can be difficult to forgive someone who hurt you.
It can also cause a lot of stress and anxiety, as it can lead to mistrust of others.
Does betrayal of trust create trauma?
In my opinion, it depends on what the circumstances are and the resilience of the person impacted by broken trust.
There are many ways to handle broken trust. They include talking to the person, setting boundaries, and seeking support from friends and family. In some cases, it may be necessary to end the relationship and move on. Ultimately, it's best to do what feels right for you.
Trust is expensive and I do not trust easily. When you break trust with me it is difficult for me not to question your actions in the future. I will forgive, but my memory is long. Sometimes, I overthink situations. It makes for a very uncomfortable dynamic, especially in romantic relationships.
The word trust has five letters.
Let's break it down: so it can be forever, broken.
T- Together, until you lie and break my heart
R- Restore, I dry my eyes pick up my heart and pride
move forward with my head held high
U- Understand, I am not listening to your lies
S- Strong I am a Strong Queen that will sit on her
throne waiting for all the grace God will show
T- Today, I take back my power and my peace
Using the five letters in trust is how I managed to bounce back.
Steps to heal from broken trust:
Start by being honest and open with your partner. Talk about the issue and apologize if necessary. Work on building trust back up through consistent communication.
